Yesterday in a Year consists of stories about a cat and a dog, and is both situated within and made of a labyrinth, where narrative, architecture and sound are used as means of activation.

Here I wanted to see how recollections of personal memories, placed into an architecture, can influence that architecture, and vice versa.

Since the work is hard to document, the text shown in the labyrinth is included below, along with an installation shot of the video, which carries a similar story, accompanied by a binaural recording of birds flying around the viewer’s head.
